Dear all,
With respect to the X3 Xecuter chip installation guide:
http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin1015.htm
I installed the chip on my on my board (XBoard is v1.2-1.5)
- -
After installation, the problem as described on following page appeared:
http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/
"...If you get FRAG (Flashing Red And Green lights) on your Xbox then you have a bad solder joint on the LPC - check everything again..."
So I checked all my solder joint, including the LPC, via a Voltmeter (passage controller) and it pieps, meaning everything fine. (LPC was also checked against the PIN "W49F020T-90B" on the upper side of the board.
Next point described on the page above is...
"... (this shows your D0 point is correct as it is switching the Xbox to the LPC bus successfully - however by getting FRAG its showing that the LPC
bus cannot read the bios from the mod). If you get a black video screen then you most probably have a new v1.6b Xbox (check to see if the system RAM is made by Hynix) and you have an older version of FlashBIOS..."
- ----
The error in detail:
Starting 3x times with automatic stop (always screen black, and external X3 module red)... after the 3rd time FRAG + black screen.
Same behaviour with short, long or double button click.
Deinstalling the X3 chip - everything reworks normal.
- ----
I have no v1.6b XBox, but still this problem.
- ----
Can anyone help me, or descibe:
> How can I check which flash version is on the X3;
> How can I check if a flash version is on the X3 (is it not possible to erase it?)
> How can I force a new flash version on the X3; (without having a colleague with an X3 chip)
The error I get is 3 times trying to boot, after the third time FRAG, during the complete boot phase . black video screen)
They wrote:
"... You will need to send it back to your installer to get it updated to FlashBIOS v3.03 or see if you can get a friend to do it for you. Remember FRAG = Faulty Install, Black Screen = New Xbox/Old Bios
"
Currently I have no friend with a X3executor. As it seems I am blocked please could you help me, could you propose me any solutions?
Thank's
Romain Cloos
