any ideas why my xbox doesn't turn on? i uninstalled the modchip and the xbox booted up fine but doesn't boot or even turn on when chip is installed. i disconnected the x3 power/reset adapter and plugged the original power/reset cable directectly to the motherboard with x3 installed and the xbox boots. the 3.3v and 5v are blue also.

What happens when you press the power button with chip all connected - what lights (if any) do yuo get on the panel etc ? Did you do the LPC rebuild OK - triple check ALL the connections.

Do you have the right bios banks on. If the wrong switches are on then it will not work at all. Try on, on, off, off, off.
nothing lights up. only lights up if i connect original power/reset cable to motherboard. i have the pro switch installed too.
I am in the same boat. I have a 1.6 with samsung ram using X3 white top and the lpc rebuild chip. My solder points appear clean under lupen inspection. I have gone over everything 3 times. But the only time the xbox will power on is if I bypass the reset eject adapter and plug in the original xbox adapter. Any help is GREATLY appreciated
