I have an Xecuter 3CE chip properly installed into my xbox 1.6b (using xapt3r 1.6). When I boot to banks 5678 (off on off off) I see the flashbios 3.0.3 screen.
At this point I switch to banks 1234 (on on off off) using the external switch so that when I flash, it will not overwrite my 3.0.3 flashbios.
With my xbox controller s I choose "Enable Network flashing" and it gives me an http address.
I start up IE on my computer and go to that address and I see the correct Xecuter flashbios 3.0.3 web page.
I choose the "X3 3294 v16plus.bin" file that I got from xbins and then choose "upload and flash"
After doing so, my xbox always says "Unknown Flash! Halting"
What am I doing wrong?
Note 1: The protect light on my X3 chip is green and switch #5 on my external switch is set to off.
Note 2: I have not yet re-attached my hard drive or dvd-rom drive
