There's absolutely nothing wrong with 1.6.. not with X3 anyway. Got one of those beauties myself. Btw, almost all the models which are being sold in stores now are 1.6 or 1.6b. Or you could buy something second hand on ebay.

I agree. Not to mention that almost all 1.6s come with the awesome Samsung drive that reads most recordable DVD media without a problem. You may avoid a little soldering with an older drive, but get stuck with a crappy Thompson drive. IMO, that's not a good trade off.

Now I need to get a cheap XBOX to put in the millennium falcon that I bought. I want an old one v1.0-1.5 (with controller). Maybe with scratches and or cr*p paint job on the case so I can buy it for around £50.

I mean, I don't need to use the case so as long as the xbox works, it's ideal. I live in Wolverhampton, UK. Anyone selling one? I would have to meet to change the XBOX for the money, unless you list it on ebay.
