I was reading about Linksboks but if i put it on my xbox cant i get viruses? do i have to install a virus protection software? Also am i able to put a p2p network on my xbox

A virus could be written, you cant catch a windows virus, but perhaps a linux one if thats what your running.

What if you have Xbox Media Center that reads Mpeg-1/2/4, MP3, AAC, JPG, GIF and many more. I am not sure but could a Virus get in through those files.

With any luck you wont ever; you have all seen how slayers can format drives? would not take to much to make a Trojan that does the same thing.
Trojan - virus - all are programs - so the threat is still a real one.

The potentional to re-write an eeprom or bios or hard drive is there for some one sick enough to put it all together.

yes viruses are designed destruction or replication programs normaly but u couldnt get a windows virus on an xbox and wud u really want virus software on an xbox? taking up all that precious space out of the 250 gb hdd or something lol

I suspect if Xodus ever releases the hooks into their Xenium OS to the outside world for integration into homebrew apps, there'll be some serious security holes that virus writers would look to exploit.

U also need this to power on the dvd drive. Because if you use the xbox to power on the drive it's logged on the xbox. Which can lead to being banned.

i think thats is complete in working properly but we have to provide also that kind of probe pin,
by the way you have other way or make it posible for just making a simple conection or diagram for that.
