Xbox will not boot at all.

I just finished soldering my 2.6ce and when i try to turn it on, the light around the eject button flashes red and yellow. The dvd rom spins up, stops immediately and then tries again. I think that i really messed something up severely. I suck. It will not boot even if the chip is turned off. Please help.

now an update,

I reconnected the chip by doing a wired install. It now gets power, but it still will not boot either way. When the chip is on, it tries to boot 3 times and then flashes red/green. When it is off it flashes red/yellow. Anyone have any ideas what may be wrong?

same here ... I think something got screwed up when I was soldering the wires on ... the eject light just keeps flashing red/green and the hdd keeps beeping like it does when the xbox suddenly loses power ... anyone know how to fix this? I mean there's no audio or even video on the screen ...

need to know what ver xbox these chips are installed in

check over your install again
also check the wires from the swtich to the chip and properly connected at both ends and are not getting pinched anywhere

does you box boot normally with the chip disabled?

xbox would not boot either way. Now i have made the error of pulling a wire straight out of the motherboard when i was pissed off. Guess Ill just have to wait for the xbox360 now

Remove everything from the Xbox including the wires/pinheader and LPC rebuild if you did that. Get the Xbox working in the stock form before trying anything else.
