LITEON DG-16D2S xbox will not update

hi all flashed my xbox a few times now my latest flash was lt 1.9.1 tried playing dead island and disc said needs to update my xbox so i let the game update and it stopped half way through . Read up about this and found out that i had to flash my liteon back to stock then update then reflash . So i have flashed my drive back to stock and tried to update but still no joy please any help would be gratefully appreciated thanks . This is what is on the screen
CANT FIND THE UPDATE FROM DISC . PLEASE REINSERT THE DISC TO CONTINUE THE UPDATE.

3151-335A-B800-0F00-C000-0034. thanks again
i have the original game and some people have asked me to show pictures so here they are.

should i try flashing it back to the original firmware ie:83850C instead of orig-02510C-1c000

First of all read up a bit more,, secondly what dash version you on And thirdly if people have asked you to post pictured of your originals then that suggests to me you've already asked for help regarding this..

Before any system update U should always flash back to stock firmware.

just keep trying the same disc that you had in at the start of the update..you may have to insert and eject a few times but it should eventually read and finish the update, happened to mine with Dead Island took around 12 attempts but finished eventually
reflashing to stock didn't make any difference..but should be done as piromaniac says
must have been a read error

anyway good luck

piromaniac sorry but i didnt know how to upload pictures when i tried a reply . so i had to start again and i have flashed back orig firmware of what my firmware version was before my update crash because thats what i was told to do on this site which is orig-02510C-1c000

I've also got a similar problem with a slim I bought off ebay. It had never been opened, the 0225 drive isn't modded and is stuck with "System Update Stopped"

status code: 0000 - 307D - B000 - 0700 - C000 - 0001

Attempts to update from USB stick had no effect. A quick search hinted that it was an update from Kinect Adventures. As it happens I have this game, so stuck it in and it does attempt to complete the update but after a couple of rotations of that swirly icon it froze and had to power cycle.

Anyone got a solution to this?

Also, is there a way to interpret the code? I'm guessing that 307D (12413 decimal) is the dash it's trying to update to??

My fallback was that I'd just RGH it but would be nice to get it going first.

try updating via usb stick with 13146 first ,that should do it

thats gonna need the specific disc the update stopped on to continue. i'll swap you a working xenon for it if you like and be sad and borrow 50 ish games a night to stick through it to find the right one. mate's that run a game stall are usefull in soooo many ways lol.

oh and this is seen as hijacking even though you have the same issue so you should really have started your own thread.

Thanks. I've tried 13146, 13599 and also 12413 from USB and they all do NOTHING. Every game disc I have except Kinect Adventures does NOTHING. Kinect Adventures causes it to resume the update momentarily then freeze the console :(

I haven't tried 12611 so I guess I can give it a go.

Swap my slim for a xenon. Hmmmmmm..........no thanks ;-)

Now tried both 12611 and 12625 from USB stick and no go. If there are any other suggestions I'd like to try them but otherwise I'll just wait for RGH.

Had the same problem on a friends console the only way I figured to sort it was downloading the correct dash for that game & update via USB same as others have said & that worked perfect
