After installing an X3 on a 1.6b, I got no video with the switches set to on on off off, but a flashbios screen when set to off on off off. I asked on the forums, and they said to boot with them set to off on off off, then switch them to on on off off, and flash. I did, flash went fine and turned off just like they were supposed to. The problem is now when I tap the power button with them set to on on off off, it stays on for around a second and then turns off. When I try to boot with them set to off on off off, I get a flashbios screen. Any suggestions?

what bios did u flash it with. U should flash it with 3108_plus bios, since ur box is a 1.6b.set your switch to on on off off and flash it. to boot you need to set you switch to off on off off since it has got flashbios 3.03 which u require since it ur box is a 1.6b. also make sure u flash ur backup bios with 3.03 since the backup bios is flashbios 3.01 which wont work with ur box.

I did use the right bios, and it does boot to flashbios 3.0.3, so I am stumped. Thanks for the help.

By doing a search on "flashing backup bios" :D and following the advice :D

NDElliot: The reason the box is doing that after you flashed it is due to the xbox not recognising the bios. Try downloading the bios again. some people have had trouble and solved it by loading an older bios version.
