xbox wont boot up..

i just finished installing my xecuter 2.6 lite on my crystal xbox (v1.6).. when i turn the chip on the chip led's are all on but it boots 3 times with green and yellow lights then has a blank screen while the lights keep flashing. and if i turn the chip off it does the same.. does any1 know what i did wrong?..

i did an lpc rebuld and i soldered the pin head way and i followed all the instructions correctly i believe..

Check the D0 along with your rebuild, many times the rebuild diagrams can be confusing, find a diagram from a different angle and check to make sure it did it right.

When I had this problem it was the shortest wire on the LPC rebuild not making a good connection.
With you saying it does it with the chip off though, makes it sound as if youve put something in the wrong place.

baldbouncer do some fantastic LPC rebuild kits for 2 quid. saves a whole load of hassle on 1.6's

Definately sounds like a rebuild problem to me, I had one do exactly the same as yours, bought and fitted the LPC rebuild PCB now it all works fine.

I would recommend the LPC PCB to anyone as it saves so much time and hastle ..... and all for less than £2

I had the same problem with my v1.0 xbox, all i did was make sure it wasnt grounded and all the screws for the mobo were in properly and it worked

i had no idea wut went wrong so i returned the xbox and got a new one.. i heard the 2.6 lite doesnt work well wit the v1.6b xbox's.. a lot are supposedly faulty..
