my xbox wont turn on at all. i have not even read my nand yet but the coolrunner has been successfully programed. is it normal for my xbox not to turn on at all because i already installed the glitch chip but i have no idea what dash it is on other than it is not the kinect dash

is the coolrunner switch on norm or prog. if you have the coolrunner programed it needs to be set to prog to boot stock nand
Pics of your install will help diagnose the cause or your issue. But in any case, check for short, solder splashes around points you have soldered. Do you have a constant power light lit on the coolrunner when you plug in the console?
It may be better to take the coolrunner out then see if the console boots.
If it still does not boot then you have most likely broke a trace or bridged something with solder

So the console won't turn on at all? Like not even power on? If that's the case then it could be the STBY_CLK wire, my falcon wouldn't show any sign of power at all and when I looked close at it I realized the STBY_CLK pad was lifted and after cutting the trace and a little soldering all was good, try the alt soldering point for it and see what it does.

False. You can glitch just fine into a stock nand. In fact, I recommend doing it to test soldering when problems arise.
Check the STBY_CLK to make sure you did not lift the pad or bridge the solder between the 2 pads. I did some testing the other day and if those 2 pads are bridged the system will show no signs of power at all.

False I have consoles here that won't boot a stock dash with the cr turned on it must be on prog these consoles are slims
I also had to remove green wire,3.3v wire and 68nf CAP,to make a jasper boot properly on stock dash.
i too had this problem with my console after removing the coolrunner from my zephyr board i looked over all the main solder points and found that my stdby clk point was damaged so had to use the alt points using the very useful guides on here after i fixed that it worked 1st time !! to the origional poster follow the guides for alt points and u should get it up and running .
