Hello, I'm having a problem with my xbox after I installed the Demon. I am suspecting my install is the problem as i haven't done this in quite a while

I installed a Coolrunner rev. b in my trinity slim and everything was working fine, then i just now installed the DemoN and now my xbox wont boot

it simply makes that turn on sound and does nothing, and I do have the demon set to XB

I had everything connected to the xbox when i tried to turn it on (ROL, dvd, wifi, fan) but it wont budge.

also I didn't get a dump of my xbxs nand yet but I did get a read of the DemoNs nand before install and now that I think of it I may have not got a write to the nand on the demon I was leaving for work when it came in the mail today. oh and I dont have the CR EN wire attached because the coolrunner isn't updated yet. Sorry just writing stuff down as i think of it

Here are picks of my install.

This is my first modchip install aside from a pulsevu 2x back in my younger years so I am really hoping I didn't permently damage the DemoN or worse my xbox but if anyone could help out with this I would appreciate it.

The demons NAND is blank when shipped so if you try to boot off that NAND your Xbox won't power up. You need to finish installing the wires and make sure you write your nands and reprogram the coolrunner with the updated files before you know whether there is a problem. If the console is trying to boot a stock NAND from your consoles NAND and the coolrunner is on it won't boot a dashboard higher than 14699. If the coolrunner is off and you have still got the glitch NAND on the onboard NAND it won't boot either.

Finish the install and programming then see if your console boots

My wiring is blocking that resistor from the cr install if it makes a difference the cr does go into standby mode when the xbox is plugged in if thats not what you were wanting to know i can move this wire and test it

Thats what I was hoping but i cant get it to connect to the computer now through the ext usb chip, (should the xbx be plugged in? and the mode on the demon should be XB when using the ext usb right?) sorry new to this just want to make sure i don't cause more damage

Are you saying the coolrunner is off when the Xbox is plugged in?

My computer wont communicate with the demon through the ext module, thats whats keeping me from programming the demon nand

still holding on to hope that its not booting because its trying to boot off the DemoN nand :)

---------- Post added at 11:44 ---------- Previous post was at 11:40 ----------

What about communication with demon via Jrunner/toolbox via the micro usb on the ext.module?
thats also a no go, the computer wont even recognize that its been plugged in

and @Fisticuffs yep found that awhile ago but need the demon to update the cr correct? (dont have anything else to do it with)

its not that big of a deal if I reinstall too guys so if you run out of ideas on why its not working i can do that tonight after I get off work but would be awesome if i didn't have to do that.

so is it looking like I should just uninstall the demon, test it by its self to make sure it still works, then if so reinstall?

or anyone else got any ideas? just need to get the ext module working but its not showing the demon getting power,

i do think the cr is booting the blank demon nand because nothing turns on when booted.

but ya need to get the ext module working to program the demon nand

Is the flat ribbon seated properly? If your cords are seated properly and demon providing power give your install is good the blue light should be on. If the cable is idsconnected no power will go to the module.

Would have to be. The flatribbon carrys the power to the module. Obviously if that isn't happening something wrong the xbox or your demon install is bad.
