XBOX won't recognise G drive following reflash

Hi, I hope osmebody can help me, as I'm having no luck fixing this myself

I recently reflashed my bios via flashbios to the x2 5232 bios. Stupidly, I didn't change the x2 config.ini file before reflashing (I didn't understand the instructions, as I'm not particularly technical), and when I turned the machine back on it just booted into the microsoft dash, meaning that I couldn't access any of my games or apps. I tried the x2 5235 bios as well, also no luck. I also couldn't get ftp access, so I used the Slayer's installer 2.6 disk to get to a condition where I could copy the x2 config file back in - it now resides in the root of both the e and f drives. However, this still didn't work, so I used the update on the slayer's disc to update the evo-x dash.

Now, when I load the machine, it boots to the evo dash, but I can't see any of my games or roms for the emulators. They also aren't visible through xbox explorer.

According to the machine's system settings, the g drive has a size of 0, and I can't see anything on there when I ftp with flashfxp either. It says that g drive is enabled in the system settings, and according to the pxhdd loader there is almost no space left on the f drive, so i assume that the files are all still there, but I can't access them.

I don't actually know what version of the xecuter chip I'm using, as the utils just seem to say 'chip version unknown' when i run them. I know that my xbox is a version 1.6, and that it was purchased and modded in early 2005. Sorry if I can't be more specific.

Any help would be gratefully received, thanks!

Is the bios setup to use the G drive? Did you have a G drive before? Was this working before flashing to 5032?

Thanks for the reply - I managed to fix it by using x2ool to fix the bios so that it would recognise the g partition. I still can't get it to play certain games from the hd (Warriors, Hulk:Ultimate destruction), but I can see all the files now, at least.
