Xbox won't start at all after X3-installation

I installed my X3 a week ago, and everything worked as it should. But after some days suddenly the box went dead while I was using it, flashing amber and with the fan at full speed for some seconds before it shutted down. When I tried to turn it back on I got one green flash, and the box trie to start up tree times with the amber light flashing.
I had a look at the topics in the forum, and figured out that I had to re-solder. Later that night, before I had the time to do the resoldering, I tried once again to start the box. This time it worked perfectly as it shold, and I used it for ours without problems.

Today when I turned on my box, it went for 2 min, and stopped again. I was thinking it had to be a soledering/temperature-problem, and opened it for resoldering.

When I got it back together I found that nothing is working. No powerup at all, no lights in the front display and no lights at he X3-panel. The only thing indicating life is the blue LED on the chip itself (the one between the connector for the frontpanel andthe adjustment wheel) lighting up when I press the power-button and about 1 sec. after I release it.

I have of course open it again (several times), resoldered, inspected with magnifiers, and even checked every soldering point with multimeter. I can't find anything suspicius. Every pin has proper contact as far as I consider.

Does anyone have some advice where to start looking for the problem? I'm running out of faith and ideas...

If your're so confident that your soldering is perfect (I mean no offense), start checking around the LPC port on the top and bottom of the board and around the d0 point for bridges and broken traces. Especially around the d0 point, as this would be an easy place to inspect. I would suggest comparing your mobo with another pic of one that is known to work. That way, you could easily find traces that may have been completely removed.
If that doesn't work, just use a multimeter again. Test a trace's originating and terminal points for continuity. You could also test two separate, but adjacent, traces for continuity to make sure that they are not shorted together.

I suspect your problem is a trace somewhere, as you have done a lot of soldering and desoldering.
