So, I lifted the STBY_CLK pad by accident.
Since this the xbox has not been turning on, I cut the trace and soldered a wire to the place suggested, it still won't turn on. Also the resistors on the two rows above have come off, don't know how. Going to put this down to doing it so late as night, due to the amount of successful RGH's I have done.

That's two consoles which two separate issues now.....

Aren't you better to just post in the 'request a service' section rather than asking for help here?

As, I said in the other post, I don't have 25 posts yet, so it won't let me. Is there anyway you could grant me access? :)

I've just seen that - apologies.

I've reported the post to an admin as I wasn't aware we were blocking posts in that section.

As I suggested in your other thread (which I've only just replied to), check my sig for price of repairs.

Hmm, well I have a Slim that is hopefully getting fixed, so I really don't want to take stuf off that.
Well if you had one you could taken a risistor off it,
solder it between a wire an than solder it on the mobo.
Thats wath i did and workt for me.
just like you did with the red wire.
Bud then with a risistor solderd on it.

Would this type of resistor work?

The regular through hole resistors work fine but your best off replacing with a 33ohm 0603 SMD resistor. A quick search on eBay will find plenty.

No offence taken, yes I'm in the UK. I got the coolrunner working for a couple of weeks, then opened it and accidently pulled the pad off. Again, the shabby job is probalbly down to me doing it at like 3 in the morning lol.
