Oh, I was pretty sure majority of the solder pads needed to be wired or is that just for reading/writing to the xbox nand?Oh, the pictures for the slim install?!?

The other X points are for the original JTAG, it's not a good idea to solder those points on an updated xbox...it wouldn't end nicely lol.The other X points on the cygnos look like the points you would solder to read the NAND. Soldered to the same points the NAND X solders to, apart from point 6 on J2B1and the ground on J2D2. But the Cygnos is grounded anyway with its own wire. I'm just throwing it out there tbh, having never installed one I'm just saying what I've seen in the tuts.
I also read on the cygnos forum, that it could be the E71 error which means, the nand image written to the cygnos chip is messed up.the install is the right one for the phat xbox.
i removed the x4 wire as it not needed.
it seem to of stopped readin the onboard nand now.after removein that wire.
the image i wrote to the cygnos is the image i tested on the onboard nand so i no the image i put on the cygnos is fine.
maybe i missing something.
but if i switch to the cygnos the xbox gets 0022 and fans run very fast.
but i boot the xbox with the cygnos switched off, and the xbox works fine.
Another way to fix it is by switching the nands and pullling the xbox power cable for 30 seconds, then plug back in again. Apparanty it can be that the smc at the southbridge is not resetting.the install is the right one for the phat xbox.

Also, just read that X4 and X0 are needed to reset the southbridge, so that may be causing the problem.i understand if it was a install prob if it was like this.
but i recheck my install in the morning.:rolleyes2:
and recheck the image i wrote to the nand.:rolleyes2:
the relay optional...
um is there a blue led on it.oh you mean the one near the on/off switch.yes it is solid.
how did you get booting into fsd then?ok i rechecked the image i built using 360 multibuilder v0.7..
just so you no the image is fine.wrote it to the xbox nand and hey ho..
here look.
i put the retail nand on the cygnos.it dont get the 0022 now.but it wont boot just fans run fast.and flashing green light on the xbox.
Also did you renal bad blocks? Because I know the band dumps I gave you contained bad blocks. Also try generating a non-stock band for the cygnos.ok i rechecked the image i built using 360 multibuilder v0.7..

Does your config look OK on the retail NAND? Open it in 360 Flash Dump Tool and take a look.
