I didn't use a cygnos, just a coolrunner.
Programmed them using coolshrimp and all theres still work fine.

Well I used cygnos, temporarily to read the nand. Btw, thanks for you help the other day and for reccommending dgenx
That's ok mate, we're here to help. If you need any more RGH's done though just give me a shout. I've got all the gear here mate. dgenx is a good bloke mate, I can guarantee he's spent a lot of time of your board and you'll get it back it A1 condition......and working

yeah he the update.
the repair on the stby clk and missing resistors fixed.
i fitted the mobo into a cage,the cpu was runnig a bit high for my likeing,on boot up it was 67.5.
so i removed heatsink and put some arctic silver compound on the cpu.put it all back together,fitted back in the cage.
after 45mins of being on.heres the result of that.
anyway how did you program the coolrunners.
my advice is,if you are going to do the rgh,then buy the right tools for the job.alot easier and alot less chance of fudgeing it up.

qsb's for the phat and slim £3.95

Yeah, I'll think I'll invest in a nand-x later in the year.
And is the cygnos wired and well done for the great work so far
there is no cygnos in it yet.

oh i did tell him to go no where near a xbox with a iron.his mum said he wont.
i also said it would of worked out cheaper for you to get somebody to fit it.
i used a mix of 1 0603 and 2 0805 resistors on the fix
i just couldnt get the 0603 to stick on them points.

Once again thanks to DayvG and dgenx for helping repair my xbox. Also Iv'e decided to not bother with the Cygnos V2 Rev E chip as it is causing too many problems and now won't power on. (will look at it some time). So I am so going to wait till Demon comes out and use the for Dual nand. Also, I took dgenx 's adivce and have bought a Nand-X
