I get home from work and my cousin was playing with my xbox... well long story short ... when I turn on my xbox it just stays on the xecuter rox my xbox screen and doesn't do anything... my harddrive light just turns off.... I asked what was the last thing he did and he said he was downloading a skin from x3 live.... I tried reflashing on the 5678 banks and it does the same thing so right now I'm sh*t out of luck.... does anyone know what might have happend and how I can fix this....xbox working but now it just stay on xecuter rox my xbox

had an evolutionx bootup cd and tried it just for kicks and sure enough the dashboard came up.... so I know it has to have something to do with x3 live..... I tried the hold the white button while starting the xbox but no luck it just hangs there with rox my xbox..... well let me tell you without that boot cd its not roxing no more... anyone have any ideas... with the boot cd I can ftp into my hard drive... maybe I have a file thats corrupt... I flashed banks 5678 = 1mb with the x3 bios... but still no cigar... does the exact same thing... so I'm wondering if it's a file on my xbox

I believe you need to reset your X3. People have been saying to boot up while holding X+Y+A+B... i've never done it, but it worked for them!

Well I didn't get a chance to try x+y+a+b ,, but i did manage to find the x3 skin folder in my hard drive.... thank got I had a boot disk.... ftp'd into my harddrive and found an x3 skin folder... I said what the hell let me delete it.... rebooted my xbox... and waaaaalaaaa!!!!!! x3 config live....

Just so you know, it's a bug. They have been addressing it more and more lately, but HOPEFULLY in the next release they will get it RIGHT.
For now, just make sure that when you go to download a skin to ENSURE that ALL the needed files come with it. The absence of certain files for each skin cause the hangup.
(MAYBE the websites which host the skin should be nice and NOT let anyone upload a skin that is incomplete!)
