Xbox Xbl banned and chip now won't boot

I have 2 xboxes both modded and with XBL accounts. Well my son left the switches on and XBL saw my altered bios and banned for life. The weird part is the chip stopped functioning at the same time, like XBL erased it. I reflashed and no luck no matter what position the switches are in or which bios I select it boots the MS bios. All connections have been checked. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

Maybe testing more than just what it boots to is a good idea. Try a backup CD. You'll probably find that your C: dashboard has been removed leaving only the Std MS Dashboard.

I tried to boot a copy that's when I noticed that it wasn't working wrong disk or dirty/damaged error. The xecuter logo doesn't show up on the screen anymore just microsh_t.

Then I suggest you check the connections and/or switch positions.

Unless you reflashed the chip's BIOS, it'll be exactly how you left it. M$ won't be able to do it from their end.

All hardware was checked and I metered the pin header and D0. My oldest had just finished playing a copy of Chaos Theory and then my younger son popped in Halo 2 and plugged in the ethernet cable. I came in and saw the "possible modified" error on the screen, called XBL support to hear "sorry but can't help ya". Then when my oldest went back to the copy of Chaos Theory, no load or Xecuter logo, just invalid media or dirty/damaged disk. The chip is recognized by the flash tool and completes the reflash but the Xectuter logo has not been seen since the banning. :(

There is more to this than being described. Microsoft have no authority messing with your BIOS on the chip, nor do they have the ability.

Xbox live is blocked with X2 BIOSes, so I'm guessing you're not using one. Not much we can do about that. More to the point, if you're sure you've got an X2 BIOS then it's not booting (causing the DDE).

It is an old xecuter 2.3 pro flashed with the 4974 bios. Never failed before this and I tried reflashing the 4974, 4976 and 4979 into it. Bios tool 1.1 and I also downloaded the latest bios tool but lost it when I formated my hard drive.

Why are you using BIOSes which are so old?

When the 2.3 pro was released, the 4979 was the most recent BIOS available - you should be looking to using at least 4981 - this would have prevented you accessing Xbox live in the first place!

Just download X2 BIOS Manager 2.3 from the downloads section...

I downloaded the latest bios tool and it recognizes the chip, I erase it and reflash it with 4974, 4976 and 4979 bioses but it still won't boot anything but the M$ bios. Any suggestions?? I have no resourse for the new bioses and getting anyone to respond with a link is near impossible.

Download and flash 4983.06 to your chip - if you don't see the Xecuter2 logo appear, then your d0 isn't making contact as it should.

If you are seeing Xecuter2, then it's working fine.
