I tried installing the x3 chip but now the xbox only boots up and all i get is a blinking red and green lights...


I took out the chip and I still have the same problem

Do a search on FRAG.... I take it your box worked before you put the chip in? It is possible you have some solder splash that is causing this problem...Check all the stuff about FRAG and you should find your answer....

the other problem is that I broke one of the connections on the motherboard, any suggestions besides a new motherboard and where can I get a motherboard?

Save your money and buy a pre-modded xbox as it looks like you dont have the time to research how to do the mod properly. If you dont know what FRAG means then you really may want to consider reading a lot before you make a decision.

What connection did you brake. You might be able to use a jumper or try to find a Motherboard on Ebay or a Google search.
