ive been all over the internet today and ive finally found this forum ran by Team Xecuter which ive found through my recent hours of studying on modding xbox360 are the doggone god fathers of this... industry you might say so im really trying to get my xbox360 slim 4gb hacked it hasnt been updated to the Dec 2011 update to the dashboard i heard u can hack it with a usb drive but all i want to do is just play games from a external hard drive and play online if possible which ive read is impossible but crossing real hard but ive also found a few ppl in my area who i can pay for the mod but i want to do it myself any detailed information would be helpful idk wat drive it has i have bookmarked how to open it from one of these forums but i dont kno wat to do after that thank you for any help

If you want to play online then you need to flash the drive if you want to play games the hard drive then you need to rgh it but you can't do both. At the same time that is
so if i want to play from the external hard drive i cant play online but if i burn the games and flash the dvd drive i can play online is that what your saying?
ok so ill go with the external then now how do i figure out what drive my slim has and how would i go about rgh i havent actually read on that? any tutorials? ideas?
Only real way to find what drive is open it and there are tons of tuts out there to help you understand rgh and install it. Type reset glitch hack in the search bar at the top

Go over to the cool runner threads there is tuts and help there that would be the best place to start there is no Easyer way than to get well read up and that is the best place to go all the info on RGH is there if you are looking to play from a ex HDD ..Also welcome to TX forums and hope you enjoy your time here there is a super bunch of guys here that do there best to help

Thank You i actually just browsed that area and realized how much of a pain it is from RGH but im going to youtube it and see from there im actually starting to realize its just better to have someone do it for me or flash the drive thanks for the help
Yep that is right as in what silent13clk said but if you decide to do the RGH then want to go back stock for some odd reason then follow this guide HERE
