Hi Guys

Just a quick question, i have managed to get my XBOX flashed and playing PAL games perfectally.

I tried to connect to XBOX live and it prompted me to download the update before i can connect... which i am a bit worried about? does the flashing effect me connecting to XBOX live.. also if i do update will it affect the flashing of the chip?

Thanks in advance

I don't know. Just download it and see what happens  Oh, i'm not responsible in *any* way using my solution which could have damage done to your xbox 360.

Hi

The problem is that i had to pay about $70 to get my xbox modded cos i dont have the correct chipset on my sata board... so i cannot reflash myself...

so if i do do it and it stuffs up the flashing i have to pay again to get it done.

i have a samsung with a m28 drive.. if that helps any?

That's why everybody uses a PCI sata card. The one on Newegg is perfect for use with the ms28 :D

That card should work, it looks like it has the VIA 6421A chipset.

If you have a MS28, then it depends on what firmware is currently on you drive. If you have Xtreme 3.x or earlier, then you may have a E66 problem on accepting the Live update

If you have Xtreme 4.x or later, then it should be fine to update.
