Xcetutor 3 Bios Question

Hi, I was wondering if i buy a chip from a reseller.. I think I read somewhere that if u have a 1.6/1.6b so must the chip have bios 1959 to work or the xbox wont start? is this true? i tried emailing chipdealer about it and what bios it were on their chips but i got no responseso i thought id post here so i know atleast before i buy a chip..

btw im not sure what version my xbox is, havent had time to open my xbox and look (and not the proper tools) but im almost certain its a 1.6 atleast as its bought recently, its a crystal edition.. manufacture date is 9th september 2004 :roll:

It is probably a 1.6b. The chip should be flashed with version 3.03 flash bios crommwell. That is what you need with ver 1.6 and 1.6b. Then you can flash it whoth whatever other bios you want. 1959

ok, but it doesnt matter what bios the chip has before that when i solder it into my xbox? i can still flash it with the proper bios so it will work properly with my 1.6/1.6b xbox? :roll:

Gamertag MOD help

im having a small problem when modding my gt. i do it all then after i click xbox live in mw2 game, the modded gt doesnt show like urs with the monkey pic. only says bostonfan17 and guest. but when i go to memory it says its on the usb??

u hav any idea??
