I've successfully flashed my old phat 47D to LTPlus 2.0 but I'm still on an older dashboard. Which current dashboard ver is the most recommended/safest that works well with XDG3 discs? I've heard that 14699 has some problems unless someone confirm there isn't.

Also, does all XDG3 backups need to be run through latest AGBX to be patched with topology data in order for it to work with LTplus 2.0 firmware?

If your going to update the dashboard then you will need to put the drive back to stock firmware first, then update the dashboard then re flash LT+ to the drive. And yes run all your backup's through AGBX for the newest topology data.

My current set up is falcon on dash 14699 and a benq drive with LT+3.0. And ive had no probs what so ever.

If you want to upgrade to the latest 14699 dashboard then you would need to revert your drive to stock then perform the upgrade and once completed successfully you will then need to reflash your CFW to LT+3.0. If you do what I suggested then you will have to patch all AP2.5 and XGD3 games with the topology data by either running it through ABGX or XBC manually or else none of those type of games will work due to the slient dae.bin update. Alternatively you can stay below 13599 dash and that way all of your currently burnt XGD3 and AP2.5 games will continue to work as they have and you won't need to reburn. However having said that you will experience problems playing new release games as they would most likely require the higher dash version and you also won't be able to login to LIVE. Before you decide on what you want to do I suggest that you study up a little more on what the silent dae.bin update does and also if you don't have a iHAS modified burner yet then I would suggest that being the first thing that you buy before upgrading the dash to 14699.

Wish you luck on what ever you decide to do.
