The XeBuild and DashLaunch devs have released another update for XeBuild and DashLaunch.

They add support for kernel 17148 & 17150 and a few other minor things.

It probably isn't worth updating right this minute unless you have a mad urge to upgrade to kernel 17150 ;).

Credits and thanks to Team XeBuild and cOz!

XeBuild v1.14 changelog:
Code:
- add patch (16767+) to allow xbox 360 formatted HDD without security sector to work with transfer cable (thanks Mustache!)
(note: xfer cable supported by aurora and F3 file managers)
- fix ini file not including launch.ini
- fixed an issue with detecting/revoking devkit boot chains in update mode
- add 17148, 17150

DashLaunch v3.14 changelog:
Code:
- add transfer cable to list of possible devices as xfer:
- added back button logo to installer to illustrate how to show/hide help without using the readme
- add 17148, 17150
- update 16767+ with the new security sector skip patch for transfer cable

thanks.

in the past I've used fsd3 filemanager to backup a 2tb ext to a 2tb ext, that works ok but when it came to internal i just copied the 0000000000000000/ folder to a ext and then from there to an int hdd.trying to do the content itself would fail, don't know why. xtaf for ya.hope this helps. maybe next time I'll do nxe transfer.

Awesome I saw this news on another forum but was not sure if it was a legitimate update or just someone's attempt at coding one. Thanks for sharing the news that it is legitimate.

Updated yesterday via jrunner/dashlauch which was smooth.

For some reason I created update file in jrunner using nands to transfer to USB via xell but console wouldn't take it for some reason?!

It will read updflash.bin from a FAT32 USB stick.
Yep. It didn't. I have done it that way more often than not but for some reason this time it wouldn't do it.

As I said I upgraded via update method since. Any other reason why it wouldn't work?
