you have to make sure you have nandpro on your PC and either:

1. your PATH has it listed
2. you are in the same directory

i.e nandpro is extracted to C:\Nandpro30

go to command prompt and type

PATH=%PATH%;C:\Nandpro30

You can now go to the folder where your nand dumps are and run nandpro.

This is basic DOS stuff here, so plenty of help is available.

Like Martin said, did you test it to see if it will boot to original dash? 2 dumps will suffice, so long they are matching. Soon will find if I was right or not when I told you late last night :rolleyes2:

Yes it boots to dashboard after writing back the first 50 blocks.
I have taken 2 matching nand dumps with no bad blocks.

I have to be away from the computer for a bit now but will report back later when i have writen my new flash.

Thanks guys

no probs. If you've now dumped 64MB you should be ok.
Yea i did the 2 64mb dumps as advised and i have since found out its a 512mb jasper.

As im new to all this i had to use the jtagtool to build and write the ECC so i get to the Xell screen and flash with my usb but i chose the 512mb jasper option and its taking forever to read the full 512mb with many error 0 reading block xxxx.

Should i have chosen a 16mb or 256mb jasper in jtag tool to build and write the ECC?

im guessing the bad blocks are because there is nothing there.

Did you try to open the 64mb dump again into 360 flash dump tool?

when i wrote the first 50 blocks to the nand and tested that it booted fine i then took the 2 64mb dumps and assumed i would have to make another ECC from the 64mb nanddumps and write this to be able to get into Xell again ?

I i gotten myself all mixed up,might have to make a coffee and get your TUT on my screen and start over

Why would you need to re-create the ECC for xell again when you have already obtained your CPU key.

You need to verify that your original nand dump is valid for creating a freeboot image. If it decrypts in 360 dump tool with the key you obtained previously then it's good to go.
