Xecuter 2.6 CE help

Hey so I have the SP ICE Adaptor, Wasn't my choice, and the Xecuter 2.6 CE modchip. I installed the adaptor,( running on a XBOX v.1.6) And all five leds are lit when powered up, but when I go to install the modchip, it does not light up. The five leds are still lite but nothing on the modchip. Am I missing something? And With the chip installed still no blue light, but I also Threw in the switches, when the chip is on the xbox starts up for a second then shuts down then starts up then shuts down then starts up and then Flashes Red And Green. When the chip is off, the xbox loads. WTF is going on people?

First off the 2.6CE running on a 1.6b useds 13 pin pinheader and gets it's 5v from the voltage regulator by the com port on the MB. I'm not sure on this but you may have to pull pins #4 #6 and #16 plus ad the v5 wire to make it work. If i'm not right some one please step up.

If you look for the Xecuter 3CE how to instill it may help you with the pins as the instill is the same for the 2.6CE chip.

this has been done before you need the ice solderless with the 5v pin on the side if you solderless has not got this put it in the bin it no good to you with a v1.6 xbox get the xapter if your going with a solderless install or bit the bullet and solder it in
you should have a red wire as well as a allergater clip as in this site

Thanks for youe help all, I had the wrong adaptor. I bought the Xapter 1.6 and it has the red wire yay! Except, now i have all the d0 points connected and the chip in place. Everything lights up and is ready to go and then FRAG awesome. This isn't getting frustrating. So screw the chip and turn it off and power up, FRAG. WTF. Somebody throw me a bone. anyone.....

your saying it fraging with out the chip and xapter on motherboard
if you still have it on the M/B then reseat again
