Xecuter 2.6 ce not booting to bios .New please help

Hi
Chipping my first xbox version 1.5 (focus written on the chip and I tested the pin 2 against ground and it moved the meter..)

I have wired the three wires and plugged the chip in.Didn,t wire the switches or the extra red wire that clips into the chip as it says that this is for 1.6 only.
When i switch the xbox on it comes up with the normal xbox logo then for a split second it will go off and switch back to tv.then boots up to normal xbox screen.
Have i missed something or if anybody could advise please

Hi

Thankyou for your reply all wired up and switch plugged in.when the switch is switched on the eject light flashes red/green and and does not power up to the screen.when the switch set to off it powers to normal xbox screen.looking at the other forum Q,s i gather this is known as "frag".and to check all connections soldered.everything seems in the right place following the pictures of install by http://www.kanection.co.uk/page.php?xPage=x26pininstall.html

the only parts left over are the alt 5v power cable for 1.6 version and the little do pcb rebuild.

sorry to be a pain all the info i can see seems to be for the x3 model.and i havn,t gor around to flashing the bios yet.where how and what ???

wanting to run old emulators on my machine when finished.Making it into a retro arcade machine

Update ------ !!!!!!!
Me Being A Numpty Wired The D0 To The Wrong Point 1.0-1.1 When By Mine Is A 1.2 To .1.5

All Fires Ok Just Need To Thread The Switch Through And Sus Out How To Flash The Bios And Where To Get It From.
