Xecuter 2.6 CE trouble

Ok I have just recently installed my X2.6 CE and it works fine. Its a 1.6B, but the reason I installed it in the first place bc I had error 21. Well anyways, I have the latest bios and I cant load burned dvd's so it wont work. And the tutorials on the menu dont have working pictures. If someone could help me out and tell me how I could flash it. All help is great, thanx

all you do is make a cd-rw or dvd with the bios x2 5035 v16 plus renamed to bios.bin and a dummy file boot up flashbios bank2 for v1.6b once it boots to flashbios change switch to bios bank 1 do cd flash the tray will open place cd-rw in tray close tray watch the screen do it thing then the xbox will turn off if it dose not reboot turn it back on you should have working bios

i find flashing via http much easier:

Connect xbox to PC with Crossover network cable.
Go into the PC TCP/IP settings in the network properties and force an IP address such as 192.168.0.1

Select flash via http, and the xbox should then connect to PC, and asign itself a IP address. Go to computer and type the Xbox's IP address into your Internet Browser, and you should then have an Xecuter Flash Screen... the rest is easy...

jus select the bios from your PC (not need to rename) and click flash.

If you have a hub/router you can connect the xbox to this with uncrossed cable, and it will be assigned an IP address via the router.

ok, both are great, but i cant load DVD's or get to that screen because I have Error 21. It wont load games or boot to anything. So, what other options do I have? Can I just switch my hdd for another one and then try it?

error 21
This error says that the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag
check your install / d0 point??
is your hard drive and dvd drive pluged in

Well the whole reason I got a chip was to fix the error 21. The chip is fine I believe. I used the LPC Rebuild on it and it turned on. But it boots up the flubber, but then the screen goes to error 21. So I am asking now if I can just put in another modded hard drive and flash the bios with it. But I don't know how to set it up to flash the bios. I basically need a noob explantion here. I normally stick with softmods, but that is what caused my error. If you could tell me the best way to fix it, that would be great. And yes, my DVD drive is in properly and I have the chip on. Thanks

you should get flashbios screen up if install good yes puting another hard drive in may fix it but you need to flash the chip frist put new hard drive in and see if it stops error 21

no, it didnt. I think it was a bad solder. I will get my dad to try and resolder a better connection then I think it will work. I will post back once I try that. Thanks, and is DJBooby the same as DJB at HQ?

hey thanks alot guys. I successfully got my chip to work fine. I bought a programmer and flashed it easily. Thanks Xeucter for his awesome chip. I love it.
