please help me! Its meant to be a no solder job but iv'e got extra wires!
all i have done is put the chip in fitted the d0 and attached the switch there is a red wire which fits into the chip and a red, green and grey. sorry im new to this

p.s when i try the test the chip is blue but my xbox restarts three times and the xbox ring is flashing red

I am assuming you have a 1.0 Xbox from the title. Since you have the solderless adaptor, you don't need to use the three wire plug. The grey wire is D0, and the other two are HDD and LAN wires. The other red wire is for an alternate 5v source.

Does the light flash only red, or red and green?
