once installed there is atleast one more thing you have to do.
when you first power the chip on it will have a legal Linux based bios installed on it. To get it to boot backups or homebrew code you will have to Flash a hacked bios to the chip. The bios you will need to flash is Xecuter 2 5035. You will still be able to run original games with the mod diabled but you will not gain any features of the modchip until it's been reflashed. Once reflashed you will be able to play backups from DVD media without doing anything extra but if you want to be able to install games to hard disk, run emulators, FTP etc etc you will also need to install a new dashboard and some extra software onto your xbox hard disk.
