Xecuter 2.6 lite CE installed but FRAG's with or without the Chip Enabled HELP!!!

Hello Everyone,
I tried to see if someone has ran into a similar prob. I installed my X2.6 as the directions specified by http://www.kanection.co.uk/page.php?xPage=x26wireinstall.html
It said the this would be the best installation for my Version Box (V1.0).

I have taken the box aprt several times to make sure all solder point are connected and everything seems fine I do the test to see if I atleast get the Cromwell Bios screen but all I get is the FRAG with or without the X2.6 Enabled.

I have not tried removing the chip entirely to see if the original dashboard will load.

But if anyone has any Ideas it would be greatly apreciated.

check for solder splashes on mother board
you all so have solded the d0 wire as well??

Thanks for the input very much DJBOOBY I will check that out and get back with you I know for sure that the d0 wire is solder but I will check for splashes like you said.

Look for broken traces as well. How hot is your soldering iron?

Thank you also for your input on this matter in answer to your question I think I have a 12 - 15watt solder iron is still to hot of an iron?? and I just checked out the link for the broken traces ( thanks for that info BLUEku and you Fantmx for the link ) and yes when I was looking for solder splahes ( as recommend by DJBOOBY by the way thanks aging for the advice there were no splashes on the mobo ) I did notice some of the traces where I installed the chip are not making contact like they should. Is there a reference pic to show where all the traces for the LPC should make connection??

12-15 watts should be fine. Just don't hold it in one spot for too long. As for the traces around the LPC bus, there are a lot of good close up images in the install tutorial linked on team xecuter's homepage.

Sorry for the late reply but its been crazy at work and have'nt had much time to tinker with the xbox I went thru the xbox yesterday and re did all the traces to the LPC and guess what the damm thing works what a [email protected]#kin nitemare, but fun at the same time. Well I know what to do next time if I encounter the same crap. Thanks aging for all your help you too DJBOOBY.
