Xecuter 2.6 to X3 upgrade

I have a xeucter 2.6 lite on my system....is it possible to remove that and install a X3 chip instead? Thanks!

Yes there installed the same

That is why the X2.6 is shipped with the full size pin header even though it doesn't need the I2C pins.
