Hi I just got a xapter 1.6 and xecuter 2.6 chip from kanection.
I have a 1.6 XBox.
I got the xapter into place and screwed it in with the springs attached & the 5v cable. I attached the switch to the chip and powered up.
With the thing set to off: I get normal XBox. With it set on on either bank I get a flashing red and green light on the circlular eject button. I also have to try and power it up 3 or 4 times to get it to come on, then there is a blank screen. (I have a blue led on the xapter and one on the xecuter.
I am sure Kanection sent me a chip with the flashbios for 1.6.
This stuff cost me £40 ~= $80-90 so I am gutted that it isn't working "out the box". I would be very grateful if anyone could offer up some suggestions.
