I flashed the wrong bios to bank1 now I get the Frag. I can boot up on bank 2 with flashbios 3.03 but I have a V1.0 and I'm not able to re-flash flashbios V3.01 or any other bios on bank1. I get erase failure when re-flashing. Is there a erase bios I can use or do I need a loader to re-flash flashbios V3.01?

Thanks for any reply

Do you have flash protect disabled?

yes. I startup on bank2 then switch to bank1 disable flash protect then flash bank1. it starts to flash, the screen has the yellow strip start but stops not even a quarter of the way across the screen, then i get the erase failed message.

Flipping the bank selector switch does nothing. See my sig for why. Also, boot with flash protect disabled. There were some posts about this a while ago, and I think one of the solutions was there was a pinched wire going to the switches. Do you know anyone with a programmer?

I tried starting with flash protect off while in bank2 mode then switching to bank1 mode, re-flashed bank1 and still the same thing. I flashed with x 5035 old 512k.

Why are you switching to bank 1? It is complely pointless. Order a programmer and see if that fixes it.

I figured out that I didn't need to switch banks. just after I replied.
I have ordered a programer.
Since I have a V1.0 should I have flashbios 3.0.1 in banks 1 & 2 then add X2 5035 old bios to banks 3 & 4 in bios manager to re-flash the chip?

No, just flash 5035 to bank 1. You will still have flashbios in bank 1, and since you have a 1.0 it doesn't matter which version of flashbios you have.

I just looked at what I typed, and I meant to say you will still have flashbios in bank 2, not bank 1.
