I am kind of ticked off that there is not a good video that i have found that shows you how to install a Xecuter 2.6ce mod chip. if any of you know where to find them, i would greatly appriciate it

so you have a V1.6 xbox
are you using the solderless install or soldering the chip in
if solderless yes use the 5v wire clamp but only if you have a v1.6 xbox v1.0 to v1.5 dont use it
if your soldering it in solder it not that hard to do

I just installed the Xecuter 2.6 CE in my V.3 XBox.
I powered on the XBOX and the usual dash appears.
I have the EVTool_1.0.9 and also have the Evox M8plus_16 bin.
I also have the Slayers Evox Auto Installer 2.7 Final and a bunch of other files.
I am stuck with using the X2 BIOS Manager v2.3 app and can't understand what I have to do next in step-by-step instructions.

wrong bios and you don,t need EVTool
you need to flash it with a x2 bios
x2 5035 for v1.0 to v1.5 xboxs
x2 5035 v16 plus forv1.6 v1.6b xboxs

if your install is ok you should see flashbios screen
if not check your install
once you flash it then you can use slayer to install a dash (XBMC) evox getting old

Ok got to the FlashBIOS Screen and I am trying to upload the X2 5035 BIOS but all I got is x2_5035_v16plus_512k.bin
And the screen says Unknown flash! Halting

Ok..I disabled Flash protection and everything looked good.
I flashed ove HTTP and I uploaded with x2_5035_v16plus_512k.bin
The BOX turned off like it was supposed to, and I started it up again.
All I have now is a black screen.

Ya I know...I used the wrong BIOS version on my v3.0 box.
I tried to upload the x2_5035_vOLD_512k.bin over HTTP, but I don't see anything on screen anymore.
How do I remove the wrong BIOS and replace it with the correct one?

Ok...I finally figured it out. I switched to Bank 2 and succesfully loaded the correct BIOS.
I restarted the box and it comes up to FlashBIOS 2.0.3.
What do I do now?
I need to setup a dash right?
I already have Slayers Evox 2.7 ISO burnt to DVD.
