Xecuter 2.6CE lights

This is my 10th install or so of the 2.6CE and on this one all the lights on the front LED switch and the blue light on the chip itself remain even after power is turned off on the xbox. Help?

What version Xbox and what type of install. And does xbox itself power off

I should have elaborated a bit more. v1.6, wire install. Xbox works just fine but the lights remain on after the machine is turned off. This seems to keep some kind of memory on the xbox itself as it has to be unplugged to work again otherwise it only frags when powered back on. However, as I stated earlier, after the machine is unplugged and then plugged back in it is all fine...

If it was a pin header install i would ask if you removed pin 6. So with saying that where did you solder the longer red wire.
