Xecuter 2.6CE problem

I have just installed an xecuter 2.6CE in a version 1.0 xbox, when I press the on button I get the flubber animation, then it says xbox then underneath that it says Xecuter2 but it wont load my slayers evox disk I put it on a dvd-r playing it on a samsung drive, but it constantly tells me that it cant read the disk, what am I doing wrong, has the chip been installed properly, PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP

Try a different media. Or try burning slower. How did you burn the disc?

Its the same disk that completed the instalation of over 30 xbox's so I know its not the disk, I think the problem lies, with the bios, its a version 1.0 xbox, and I flashed the whole chip which is 1MB, I think I have to flash it with 512KB

all xbox drives are different, some read different media better than others.

take a dvd drive out of one that you know reads the media put it in the new one, see if it boots it.

your saying its got the x2 logo now, but you are still on the linux screen? or just need to load your new dash and stuff up?
see I am not clear on what you are trying to do, flash the mod chip or put evox on the hdd.
slayers is not the best in the world to attempt chip flash with
but then again I am on meds rite now an may be missing the point as well.

Since it says Xecuter below the X, the bios has already been flashed.

It has nothing to do with the bios. The bios has nothing to do with what CD/DVDs the Xbox will read. It sounds like you have a Thomson drive, which is very picky about what it will read. As suggested, try a different drive, or different media.
