Ive just installed e3 chip to my xbox and flashed the bios, im very new to xbox mod but what do i do now and how.
Your posts are apprieciated. TY.
Also what is the banks switch on the front of my xbox, it might be a stupid question but we all learn somewere :)

Switching HDD to clean legit Xbox

So I have an old flashed 360 with a few burned game save files on its HDD, but I haven't been online with it in ages, months before the banwave. I don't mean I just haven't logged on, I mean it hasn't had a network cable plugged in. I haven't been online since, so I have no reason to think my gamertag's been corrupted.

This morning I got RROD (playing a legal copy of ME2) so I can't check whether I'm banned or not. But I was planning on buying a legit 360 arcade and just plugging in my old HDD and play Live legally with legal games.

Question is if by some off chance my broken 360 is banned without my knowledge, can my new legit xbox be banned too if I plug in my old HDD with all the files still on there? Since I have no way of formatting it either, do I need to buy a new HDD and lose all those saves?

I've only heard a few people get banned from XBox Live by putting a modded console's hard drive on a legit console. Best bet is to put it onto the new XBox 360 (DO NOT CONNECT TO LIVE FOR ANY REASON!) then go and format it. Don't worry about loosing everything. If you paid for the items in Live then you can always go back and download them free of charge. You will loose your games saves though.

What I did was make two different profiles on my hdd for my 2 xboxs. Have them auto sign in, the one with your xbl with your legit xbox, and the corrupt one on the banned. Just so you don't accidentally sign in the wrong one corrupting the good profile.

The banned xbox's profile can't be read on my legit one since its corrupt so I don't think they could see whats going on with it other then its from a banned xbox.

If you sign into your profile with xbox live on your banned xbox it will corrupt your profile and you will have to recover it. I've been switching my 1 hard drive for 2 months now with no problems because I'm too cheap to buy the 512 meg for around $50.

I have a memory unit that I switch back and forth between a modded and stock xbox I'm fine
