Alrighty i dont have a lot of time to look threw the forum for what im looking for so i guess ill just post it here and hope my question will be answered.

I am going to be buying Xecuter 3, and wanted to know if it has an option to turn the chip off while playing Xbox live !

Also another question wheather this modchip allows you to play backed up games, and import games onto your Xb hard drive.

Thankz for your time people,

You can turn chip off so you can play on live yes, and you can play back-ups just not on live.

There have been a few problems with the x3 and ms live. Alot of people have been banned do to using a large hard drive and not the retail hd or not turning the chip off. Make sure you do some research.

Actually it's called the marriage theory which is close to being proven. It works so that if you sign up with live and have a stock HD or any HD, then switch to a bigger HD you get banned, but as long as you sign up and don't switch your HD your good.

I stand behind the marriage theory because my ass just got banned after changing to a larger hard drive.... I for some reason forgot that I changed my drive and tried to log on live (alcohol distorts your memory!!) LOL....

yes the marriage theory is the closest thing we've got to the truth at the moment. Though don't get mixed up, it doesnt matter if you upgrade to a smaller or larger hard drive. Like me for instance, i am using a 200gb on Live no problem. But if i switched back to my stock drive and tried to go on live i WILL PROBABLY get banned off of live. Then I would need proably a totaly new hdd for live and a new eeprom thats not in use online.

If you use a HD other than the original u will be banned. I use my x3 and stock drive and then switch drives when i want to use my other stuff. When a LPC check is done it could turn off the power to the x3 than back on again but the Auto diconnect XL will kick. This has happened to me and I am still playing on XL with no problems at all. :D

this is what im talkin bout. It doesnt matter which u use as long as its the same hdd that was in use since the newest live updates. And no, in my case i would be banned if i put my original in because it wont match my current eeprom settings and with live and then i will be banned.

- i use a 120 GB hardrive and have not gotten banned for more than a year
- i play halo 2 on live daily and have not gotten banned
- ms should not ban b/c of larger hard drives; you had to buy the game

Ok just to get this straight.

If i upgrade my HDD after signing up XB live i will most likely be banned !

Would i get banned if i upgraded my HDD before i even signed up for BX live ?

I just bought an XBOX and already signed up for LIVE with the stock HDD in the BOX. I just came across this website and decided that I want to modify my XBOX and add the X3 chip plus a larger HDD.

I read on xbox-scene that Team Xecuter are coming out with a HDD switcher, any info on this yet and a release date? And lastly, using X3 and this HDD switching device to switch to my stock HDD when using LIVE will *NOT* get me banned, correct?

Thanks for the answers.

Modded 360 with recovered gamertag

Hey guys so I haven't connected by benq 360 since the halloween ban sweep and once I finally turned it on i was banned. My profile became corrupted so I deleted it and recovered it. Now if I use it online again with my other modded 360 using 1.7LT will I be safe from being banned again by using it? Thanks! :D
