Xecuter 3 w/ V1.6 xbox and Evolution X

I have an X3, 1.6 box, and the newest (1959 as of now) bios installed. Everything works fine, I love the chip. I'm just wondering how to install evolution x. I ftp'd the .xbe .ini and skins dir for it over to the root c drive on the box. I then switched the config live bios settings to not autorun x3 config live, plus moved the evox xbe file up in the dash boot priority. What happens is it gets past flubber and logo and then just reboots. I have to hold down the white button to get back into x3 config live to switch it back.

I have the slayer installer but would rather set it up manually. I am thinking I might need the ROM entry for the bios section of evox.ini, does anyone know what it would be for and xecuter3 with X3_1959_v16plus bios?

congrats on doing it manually

what the problem more than likely is is that you didn't rename the xbe file. by default it is default.xbe, it should be changed to match one of the xbes in your boot list, normally evoxdash.xbe
