Xecuter 3CE FlashBIOS

Guys,

I hav installed the Xecuter 3CE with the solderless adaptor 1.6 and everything seems to be booting up correctly. I am looking at flashing the bios and have put the switch to On On Off Off but when I boot up it still says that the Flash is 2048 but I have the feeling that is just telling me how much flash the ModChip has. How can I tell that the it is set to flash of 1024?

just use the x3 3294 bios for your version xbox its only 1mb
or remove bios switch and it will flash banks 1234 with x3 bios anyway

I take it I just use the flash guide and don't do anything with the x3_script.ini file?

The 2048 is the complete size of the X3 ROM. By selecting either the On, On, Off, Off or Off, On, Off, Off you are working with a 1MB bank. That information is simply the FlashBIOS diagnostic hardware info.

You'll need the X3 3294 v16plus BIOS.

I downloaded X3_3294.rar from XBINS and it had the following files in the RAR files

x3skins folder
changelog.txt file
scriptlanguage_doc.txt file
skins_readme.txt file
X3 3294 v16plus.bin file
X3 3294.bin file
x3_script.ini file

I know I have to use the X3 3294 v16plus.bin file for my version of XBOX but just wanted to know what the other files and folder is for (exceptX3 3294.bin file)

Just flashed it with out any problems apart from it takes the IP address of my Wfi router but I am sure I will fix that.

Thanks mate, I have flashed it now and all seems fine. I am now going to look at getting a bigger HDD before I do much more.

I take it games are save on one of the drives of the original HDD? If so can I take them off?

if you mean gamesaves use gamesave manger app(PC app) that will copy the saves to your pc then once you install H/D back to it

I am assuming you have to unlock the HDD before you can save or add stuff to it?

No, the drive does not have to be locked for any reason other than to use the original M$ dash (boot mod disabled). While locked you are able to FTP and install anything you'd like. The lock is simply a technique Microsoft used to hopefully stop people from simply replacing the HDD.

when i start it i always get the flach screen
what do i do wrong ?
ive loded a bios
on my hd is the evox and games from another xbox with a xenium chip normaly this xecuter 3ce will boot this hd ?
or is it my bios ?

What BIOS did you flash to the chip?

evox.m8plus.v16.fc.137
renamed all like in the guide to bios.bin
burned it , it loads then shut down . all like in the guide.

when i do flash protect on it will not flash

do i use the wrong bios file ?
how do i get in the menu of my chip
on the harddrive is installed by xenium ice with evox
i have all bios 256 / 512 / 1 mb on my pc

You have to leave your flash protect off in order to flash anything.

What guide is telling you to flash all these BIOSes to your chip?
