somehow i feel a dremel would be a much better tool for the job

I can imagine with the Xbox 2 that there will be alot of soldering involved considering there will not be any lpc! So the mod may be a little more time consuming.

It really isn't the matter of an LPC rather then replacing the current BIOS with a seperate BIOS.

Think about it, you can softmod your xbox instead of installing a chip. Both work the exact same way, except with a chip, instead of replacing the original BIOS, you work around it.

Yea, no matter what, it will be modable.

Liteon PCB Fried, should i buy new xbox ?

well i guess i plugged my probe in the wrong way so when i tried to read it the blue light always stayed on but the green never turned on. should i buy a new xbox ? ps. i have flashed my xbox before. thank you

you still have orginal or custom frimware then just buy an identicle drive and flash it.
