hello. Any 1 know what type of connection this uses into the pc. Also if i get that do i still have to use slax. And is it still the same as the tutorila to flash it ?

It uses a SATA connection to the PC. Basically it's just a way to do Hitachi drives without needing the 360 console at all. You can completely remove the drive from the 360 and leave the 360 system somewhere safe. You hook a SATA cable from the Hitachi drive to your computer. The Hitachi's power cable plugs into the Xecuter kit, which gets it's power from a standard power plug within your PC. No, you don't need to use Slax with this, it is able to go into Mode B on it's own. Yes, same tutorial...Textbook covers this method as well. ;)

It's for both. The ODD (Optical Disc Drive) adapter is used for powering the Xbox 360 DVD drive and also has a ModeB button for older Hitachi v46 , v47, and v59 DVD drives. It just connects to a normal molex 4-pin power cable in a normal desktop PC.

The hard drive adapter is for connecting the Xbox 360 hard drive to your PC without the need to take it out of it's enclosure.
