Before Flaming, I have searched extensively and have contacted TeamXtender but no reply,I also posted this in several forums so dont flame if you see it in a few places, I need these answers fairly soon.

Question 1: I need to know if the Xtender Case is compatible with Xecuter X3 Control Panel?

Question 2: Is it compatible with Xecuter X3 CE Modchip or do you need another mod chip to run it, I have researched this and some say it works some say they have tiny problems with it like LED's not working properly and such?

Question 3: If it is not is it possible to modify it so that it is, or it is just not possible?

Thanks for all your guys help, When my box is done I will post a pic of it and I will have a thank you section for all those who helped me along the way.

1. I don't know.. I think it should work fine with the extender cuz the extender doesn't actually modify anything from the front right? it just sits on top.. i'm not sure though

2. the X3 CE is just a remodling of the X3.. i.e. movement of the placement of some of the plugs and such. The actual workings of the modchips are the same so the X3 Control Panel should work flawlessly with the X3 CE.

3. If #1 isn't true, then I guess it would be possible to modify it. I have not actually seen the Xtender up close, so I don't know what it consists of, where things connect, etc. If it doesn't work perfectly, you can always drill holes.. lol.

Yes you will beable to use the extender with the control panle, as its just a new front but molded from the original panel......

Yeah, it should work, but that thing's ugly..you'd be better off making a custom case for your XBOX.

The pic in the left of my sig is fantastic, by the way, and the one on the right's lines looks a bit like black crayons because I when I reduced the image size, the lines broke up. Maybe I should remove that one and only include the photograph of it when it's done?
Also, I think in terms of design, my case is way better than an extender, many people on here have said that they're ugly.

Xtender is ugly, you're better off doing an external HD hotswap mod like I did. Only thing that bugs me is the Enclosure doesn't look right with my clear case so I want to put a switch and leave a HD inside and have the ability to switch between the HD enclosure on the outside or the HD on on the inside, so I can unplug the enclosure when I bring my xbox places. I'll show some pics of my xbox when I get a good camera, and tell how I did it. I got my HD enclosure from here (http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=166) if you're interested in trying that for switching HD's. Don't go with Xtender though, that thing is fugly.

Answer 1: I found the X3CP to be a perfect fit with the stock case. So as long as the xtender case follows stock sizes it will be a perfect fit (just remember to remove the tin heat shield from the xbox.

Answer 2: It should work as from what I understand the Xtender only adds in a switch for choosing your HDD's. So there shouldn't be any problems.

Answer 3: Can't answer this one as it is either a run on question or an improperly formated question IE no subject to direct the question at.

I bought the xtender the front plate that switches 3 HD's does not fit very well, it may just be mine was not made correctly or whatever doesnt matter now though, i took there hd swap chip off and made a acrylic front plate and screwed back in the xtender switch, you can do the same with the side panels you just need a heat gun for the front one cause it is curved unless your using very thin acrylic then you can just force it in to place and put your case on top or you can glue it to the top or you can screw it to the bottom, but it can work.

Im trying to replace all the plates with Acrylic, I had to heat up the front plate acrylic because of the slight curve and the angled ends in the xtender, but it works, now everything is crystal clear, thinking of replacing the HDD tray xtension with acrylic too, will be thicker than the outside though. I bought a limited edition crystal xbox and didnt want the xtender uglifying my baby, all in all it works, basicly i bought the xtender for the templates and the HDD Switch, some will say it is a waste of money but I dont have enough time or energy to do it from scratch.
