so I just got my demon and wanted to test before installing.. installed demon download.. installed drivers.. hooked up my demon with micro usb.. made sure its set to PC mode.. demon download wont open.. not sure if my demon is being recognized or not does it suppose to have any kind of LED light?? Im running Win 7 Ulimate 64 bit. not sure why its not working can anyone help?

I would first suggest trying another USB cable.
Your computer should identify new hardware once the DemoN is connected (and set to PC mode) with the mirco-USB cable.

connect the ribbon cable and ext module - that has an LED

i tried that too.. nothing.. sorry I mean demon toolbox wont open. I only have one micro usb im using the one that came with my WD usb hard drive.

The mini-USB cable is used for the external module - a micro-USB cable is required to test the DemoN using the on-board micro USB port, a micro-USB cable looks something like this:
thats what im using a micro usb cable to try to test my demon but doesnt do anything when I connect it with drivers installed

got my demon installed and up and running! stock nand on retail and RGH on demon .. working good! thanks everyone!
ok im having the same issue as this one guy i have install driver but the tool box does not open this demon is one of the first one that came out to public first batch . It has not been touch with soldering iron i just trying to get the driver install an check out read an write before all that but im runing into these issue any idea

Ensure J-Runner isn't running in the background.
Have you connected a micro-USB cable?
Does Device Manager see "DemoN" once the cable is connected?
Is the switch set to PC?
Never rule out the possibility of a faulty cable either

.yes u can see it connected to the pc j runner not running in the back ground the device manger see it to Brand new cable also the switch is on pc
this make no sense i can toggle the nand back an forward on j runner switch back to demon an xbbox but noting install to xbox just checking thing also it show it connected to j runner ?
