I thought it would be something like a add on spi flasher, because many other team (matrix, squirt, etc) are having spi flasher built into the coolrunner

I cant see it being a flasher. Xecuter said "While the others were fixing their glitch chip problems and releasing a bunch of revised versions, instead of doing it right first time like the Xecuter CoolRunner".

Sounds to me that theyre happy with the way the coolrunner is at the moment so dont need to change that because other boards have it built in.

You know I have been wondering what the extra plugs were. I would say this has been in the works for awhile. Probably by V3 of the coolrunner I'm guessing!
