yea i got your alls X3 mod chip installed on my v1.0 box perfect and it;s awsome but when i turn it off and play XBL in middle of a random game it will say network problem and ask me to troubleshoot and i do and everything is fine. So I get kicked from my games and it pisses me off so please please help me. It didn't ever happen til i got the chip.

If you boot with the chip off, it can't have any effect on your xbox. It's probably just a coincidence that your connection became flaky after the install.

I had a similar problem, it was my ISP though, my cable connection was fluxuating.. eventually went away and everything worked fine.

yeah if the chips' not on it can't affect your network connection. xbox live is flaky all the time. its mostly likely a coincidence.

Dude! it could also be the new xbox live ban update! check the homepage and scroll down a bit. basicly it says if you put a new hard drive in with the same xbox live account it will pick up on the change in the serial number and ban you... but from what i've read it wouldnt allow you to sign back on... so maybe thats not it. o well.

OR you could download a NIC testing program and test the xbox NIC. yes i realize that it is not a "CARD" but maybe you can test a NIC that isnt on the machine with the program. like a remote NIC tester. i dont know if any of the programs have such a capability but it is certainly worth looking into.

yea sry but i have no idea wut ur talkin about The thing is it can't be a coincidence. I can not stay in one game at all without this troulble shoot thing coming up right in the middle of me kickin ass on halo2. when i hit trouble shoot it goes and looks at my connections and everything and it always checks out fine. if i hit cancle(@troubleshoot menu on halo2) I can sign right back in instantly no prob. until i start playing, thats when it pops up. I wouldn't make it such a big deal if it didnt happen much, but it does so please xecuter or someone help me. im gonna try callin xbox 2morrow to see wut they say but there's no way im gonna tell them my box is modded so ALL help will be greatly appreciated.

why don't you try opening the xbox, unplugging the chip, and putting it back together. If you can play w/o problems then its the chip. if you still have problems call your isp and give them hell

I highly doubt this but it could be like a surge from the ethernet line. There is a reason why some surge protectors have ethernet inputs and outputs.
