Xecuter screen(rox my box)then nothing

OK I have searched and read for HOURS and HOURS so bare with me:
I installed a xecuter2.6 solderless
I flashed the bios (x2 5035 vold 512)
Now when I power the xbox the screen says xecuter2 config live loading......
Then goes to the flubber screen and has the xecuter logo and Rox my box
Then it boots the M$ dash
I have tried "hold the white button while booting "to no avail

Please offer any sugestions
I have 2 xboxes
1 is a v1.4 with a spider chip works fine
2 is a v1.5 with the xecuter 2.6

Did you install any other dashboards? What did you set the path as for your dashboards in the config file?

Holding the white button will do nothing. You have an X2 not an X3!

Your chip is working fine. You can either leave as is and boot from DVDs (backups etc) or install another dashboard.

I must be missing something cuz When I turn on the xbox after flubber it goes to the M$ dash
any non xbox disc I put in say the it cant reconize it? What am I doing wrong? I have a working copy of slayers but that too comes up as not reconized. If there is a recomended post or tut send me to it. Im sure I have everything to get this done. Just need the right post

If you're booting and getting the Xecuter Rox my Box, then the chip is enabled and the BIOS is working.

You say you have a working copy of Slayers? Is it on a CD-R or DVD-R? Also, how do you know it's working?

The Slayers is on a CD-RW and works fine. I have another xbox modded with a spider chip that is how I know the Slayers works.
This is what happenes I ordered a Xenium Ice solderless BUT They sent me the Xecuter 2.6 which being a NooB I didn't relize this. So I flash both banks at once ...I found out thats a bad thing so I went and did ths whole "hot swap" thing and was able to reflash bank 1 with X2 5035 and re store bank 2 with flash bios 303 That is where I am now Asking the real experts like yourself. Basicly if I can FTP the box then I can put a diff dash in

Not all Xbox drives can read CD-RW that well. Try burning it to a DVD-R if you have one.

I dont have a dvd-r burner just a +r so I think I will just swap drives and pray that works. Do I have to rename the dash I want so it will boot up with the chip on and when the chip is off the M$ dash loads? If so how do I do that?

Slayers comes as an xISO, so all you have to do is just burn the image using nero. You won't have to rename anything.

I think he meant rename the dashboard.

You don't need to any more. The new BIOSes will recognise evoxdash.xbe/avalaunch.xbe etc and try to load them before xboxdash.xbe.

lo all
im having same trouble 2.6ce pin head install
boots up saying xecuter2config live loading then rox my box screen then jumps to m$ dash
i managed to install slayers used ridisc -r dvd in the thompson drive i did stealth install apps on f
only way i can ftp to it is if i boot with slayers in
i put x2config file in both root c first then f but just went around in circles when tryin to boot.
do i have to rename file if so to what?
or any ideas on wot to do next

Look at what the dashboad .xbe files are named, and check their path. Then look at your X2 config file. It sounds like the bios cannot find a dashboard to boot, so it defaults to the Microsoft dashboard.

sorted reinstalled slayers standard m$ and evox on c then put x2 config.ini straight at root c works fine
