Awesome, Thanks Guys! The reason I wanted to be sure was tha it is 7200 RPM HD and I thought 360 might not like that. Cool, I will go ahead and order the drive today and It looks like I also need to order the HD Adapter.

Thanks Guy!

Since I can't edit my last post, I just wanted to be clear on if I really need the HDD Adapter. I mean couldn't I just hook it up directly to my PC and go that round. I have have the XBOX360USB Pro, but I don't have the HDD Adapter.

My plan is to hook up the drive to PC and give it Power and Data through PC, will this work?

Thanks Guys!

Well done TX! Thanks a lot.

I have two questions:

Is it now possible to store backups of your games to a hard disk instead burning them to a DL-DVD?

If it is, will this fix the problem of the new BETA disk that has more capacity?

No offense, but why all of a sudden does every n00b in the world think that they can magically install games to the hard drive without the need to have the disc in the drive? This question continues to pop up and it is not a very smart question TBH. This tool creates an "official" microsoft out of a Western Digital Plain Jane SATA HDD, that is it. It does not suddenly make the xbox into a JTAG.

Sorry if it isn't a smart question, but I read a lot on the forums of TX before asking a question. I'm flashing now for less than a year. I never bricked a drive or something.
Just by reading on the forums and tutorials. I've never asked when will the new firmware be released or things like that.

In the topic-start Ubergeek says:
What does this mean for you ?

You can now convert any off-the-shelf 2.5" SATA Hard Drive and convert it to be 100% XBOX 360 Compatible, saving you a TON of money !
If it doesn't saves you the money of buying disks it won't be that much you save. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And when reading some post of other users it looks like they think it is possible to play without a disk.

I was only asking for a confirmation.

And this doesn't mean it is not a great product from TX.

He is talking about the savings of "making" a 250gb hdd vs buying an M$ one at the store.

Okay, thanks. That what I didn't know for sure because a M$ 250Gb HDD costs $ 95,- and a WD 250Gb 2½" HHD costs $ 60,- excl. a Xecuter X360USB Pro HDD Hacker Tool and a HDD case.

But I still like the product anyway!

A quick question, why only WD HDDs, seagate is more cheaper than WD, also we don't get 2.5" WD HDDs here easily, would be great if you add support for seagate as well.

It doesnt take a brain surgeon to work out the possible savings
