No you just wont be able to use the whole space until the 320gb hddss.bin is released in September, then you will need to reflash.
Guys I just wanted to take time to thank the team for making amazing products.
I ordered my USB pro bundle and performed my first flashing and the first HHD tool hack.
Keep it up.
Being new I had many questions,but the tuts were amazing.
For the people who are trying to flash their hard drives.i just wanted to make it very simple.
You can simply use the USB pro to connect the drive to your laptop/pc.
You need to power the drive,either use ck lite/ck pro or simply use the molex supply with the sata drive power.You can also just open your pc and use the power in it.I personally got the molex with the bundle and bought a converter(really cheap) to convert it to sata power supply.
The rest of how to use the software is available in tutorials.
Now i just have a few questions.Can we dump data from other xbox drives.I am asking because the old phat drives i have are Hitachi.If i dump data for these 120-160 gb hdd,will it be helpful for other users who are trying to hack their Hitachi drives for their Xbox 360.Or is it only and only WD drives that will work with the hdd hacker tool?

One more thing, I had a 329 gb WD drive flashed to 250 bin.I had to restore it to original and then flash it to 320.Otherwise it said that the size didn't match

Word of warning to folks.
Managed to corrupt my data on a new 320gb HDD using Party Buffalo on Win 7 64bit. May have been me but would urge caution to others to make sure they have at least backed up their gamertag.
